Mary Magdalene window

Donated by the water carriers, shown in the first 3 panels. Medieval Western theologians considered Mary of Bethany, Mary of Magdala and the "woman who was a sinner" all the same person. Panel 4 shows her at cleaning Jesus' feet at the house of Simon the Pharisee. Panels 5 - 10 Lazarus' resurrection. Panels 11 - 14 Jesus' resurrection. Panels 15 - 17 show medieval legend of Mary, Lazarus, Martha and St. Maximin coming to Provence. Panels 18 - 22 her death and welcoming into Heaven.
